Westerville North’s Jaiden Stokes Signs Letter of Intent to Attend Brown University

On Thursday, December 12, family, friends, coaches and faculty came together to support Jaiden Stokes as she signed a Letter of Intent to attend Brown University in the fall and run track for the Bears.  Stokes has been an active Warrior at North and in the Westerville community.  She is a member of the Warrior Athlete Leadership Team (WALT), National Honor Society, Global Scholars, the Odyssey school newspaper (Sports Editor), Senior Mentors, Junior Achievement and the Superintendent’s Advisory Council.  She is also a member of the City of Westerville Teen Advisory Board, the Westerville Education Foundation Student Board and Grants Committee and was the Rotary Club of Westerville’s Student of the Month representing North.  Stokes was a scholar athlete numerous times and participated in girls cross country, girls’ volleyball, the swim and dive team, indoor track, and the outdoor track and field team – with some sports happening in the same season.  She is a varsity letter winner in track and field and cross-country.  Stokes is the 2019 OCC Cardinal Division Champion in the 100 and 400 meters.  She plans to attend Brown University where she will study Biology with a focus on Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish.
