Westerville Parent Council, the umbrella group that unites booster organizations, PTAs and PTOs in the Westerville City School District, honored scholarship recipients on May 15. The group’s annual Summer Camp and Activities Expo raised funds to provide nine $500 scholarships. More than 300 students applied, and a committee of 12 scored their applications in the areas achievement, extracurricular activities, leadership, community and volunteer service, and financial need. Recipients are:
- Westerville Parent Council Scholarships – Kendall Allen and Emma Dollenmayer (Westerville Central High School); Ervan Rodgers III and Zachary Ryan (Westerville North High School); and Elia Bouton and Kyra Welch (Westerville South High School)
- Scholarship for Exceptional Students – India Melson (South)
- Scholarship for Making a Difference – Elisabeth Steele (Central)
- Technical Scholarship – Talia Crumrine (North)
