On Wednesday evening, March 20, in the Warrior Performing Arts Center, Westerville North High School Athletics hosted its annual Winter Sport Recognition Night ceremony. All winter sport athletes and coaches were present as some very special individual awards were presented, including Scholar-Athletes, Warrior Identity, Comeback Warrior, and Team GPA Champions (Girls Swim/Dive). New this year is the “WeAreWarriors Culture Award, presented by Rick Bannister to the wrestling program for their community service and outreach in assisting Westerville Neighborhood Bridges.
Following the all-sport ceremony, athletes enjoyed individual team banquets in spaces throughout the school. “It was another excellent evening as winter sports Warriors were honored for their many great accomplishments,” said Athletic Director Wes Elifritz.
