Snyder told the high school wrestlers that losses could fuel them to become better.
Westerville North High School welcomed Team USA wrestler Kyle Snyder as keynote speaker at the school’s youth wrestling banquet on February 7. Snyder won three NCAA Championships for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He is also the youngest American wrestler to win an Olympic gold medal.
Snyder told the students about his travels and his desire to compete against the best wrestlers in the world. The highlight of the night was his discussion about how he took losses as a youth wrestler and used them as fuel to improve. North wrestling coach David Grant organized the special event.
