Westerville North’s Riley Welsheimer to Play Soccer for Ohio Wesleyan University

February 6 was a big day for Westerville North High School senior Riley Welsheimer, who signed a Letter of Intent to play soccer and continue her education at Ohio Wesleyan University.  Well-wishers packed the Media Center to offer their support and congratulations. 

Welsheimer is a four-year letterman in soccer, and a four-year scholar athlete.  She is a member of the Warrior Athletic Leadership Team, and a member of the National Honor Society.  Welsheimer received first team OCC honors in 2017, and second team all-district for women’s soccer.  She is an OCC Champion in the women’s 4x400 for track and field.  Welsheimer plans to study Occupational Therapy at Ohio Wesleyan.
