Students and parents who are interested in learning about international travel opportunities offered through the Westerville City School District should mark their calendars for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20.  That is when the final meeting of the school year will take place regarding trips for 2020.  The session will be held in the Westerville North High School Media Center, located at 950 County Line Road.

International Tour Programs from all three Westerville High Schools offer students the opportunity to see first-hand what has been taught in classrooms.  Pupils immerse themselves in new cultures and broaden their perspectives.  In addition to preparing them to become globally minded citizens, international travel allows youngsters to develop confidence in navigating the world around them.  They also get the opportunity to improve their college applications and possibly earn high school or college credit.  In past years, students have explored places from across four different continents.

Coming tours will span across Europe and Central America during both Spring and Summer Break in 2020.  Slots are filled far in advance, so current high school students and interested 8th graders are encouraged to attend.  Please register to attend at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/westerville-international-tours-meeting-tickets-54947484405.
