Friends, family members, coaches, teammates, teachers and administrators gathered in the Westerville North High School Gallery on Thursday afternoon, April 19, to watch and celebrate as Rodney Van Cleaf signed a Letter of Intent to continue his education and play football at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.

Van Cleaf has received a number of awards in both football and track and field.  As a senior, he was named co-captain of the football team and received his third letter award.  His abilities transcended off the field, as he was also a member of WALT, the Warrior Athletic Leadership Team.  Van Cleaf serves the community through his church, St. Paul A.M.E., where he assists in the audiovisual department and is a member of The Young People’s Division.  He is also a member of Boy Scout Troop 262, where he earned the highest distinction of Eagle Scout.
