During high school, Talmadge ran track, played football, and participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  As a freshman, he attended the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists at Harvard, based on his academic achievements, leadership potential, and determination to serve humanity in the field of medicine.  For this, he was recognized by the Westerville City Council as an outstanding student and example to youth in the community.  At Wilmington, Talmadge plans to study Sports Medicine.  He is excited for the opportunity to extern with the Cincinnati Bengals and learn more about Quaker values and toughness along the way.
