Wrestlers and girls basketball players at Westerville North High School paused this past week to recognize teachers they selected who have made a positive impact on their educational experience in the Westerville City School District. Honorees were called to the middle of the gymnasium, where they received plaques and public recognition for the difference they have made in the lives of these pupils. The North Athletic Department holds Educator Appreciation Night ceremonies in the fall and winter to give senior athletes an opportunity to show their appreciation to one special honoree.
