Westerville North High School student Danielle Pratt has been selected as the winner of the 10th grade essay competition for the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art, Essay & Multimedia Contest, sponsored by the Ohio Civil Rights Commission with support from PNC, Honda of America, and Wright State University.  Hundreds of entries for this year’s contest were submitted, but only one winner was selected from each grade level.

Pratt and her English teacher, Maryann Hines, have been invited to attend an award ceremony and reception on February 2 at The Ohio State University Urban Arts Space, where the winning entries will be showcased and student winners will be formally recognized for their participation and hard work.
