Westerville North students from the classrooms of Amy Brill and Sara Call spent part of yesterday afternoon at a warehouse on Brooksedge Place sorting food and paper products for this year’s holiday distribution.  Caring & Sharing assemblies are taking place today at all three local high schools.

The holiday season for those in need will once again be made brighter, thanks to monumental efforts by Westerville Caring and Sharing (WC&S), an all-volunteer, charitable 501(c)3 organization with no paid staff, which reaches out to students/families in the Westerville City School District.  WC&S served more than 725 individuals during its 2016 Holiday Project.

Donations are currently being accepted at three designated drop off sites for Westerville Caring & Sharing’s 2017 Holiday Project Toy Drive:

  • The Westerville Community Center at 350 North Cleveland Avenue;
  • The Edward Jones Office at 110 Polaris Parkway, Suite 230; and
  • The Westerville Fire Department at 400 West Main Street.

Unwrapped toys for all age brackets are needed.  Please remember to include batteries if applicable.  The toy drive ends next Friday, December 15.  Questions?  Call 614/470-4320.
