On Wednesday, November 8, Kirsten M. Georges, a senior at Westerville North High School, signed a Letter of Intent to further her education and softball career at Tiffin University, where she will major in criminology.
Georges started playing various sports at a very young age, beginning with soccer, then baseball and finally softball. By the time she was 10, softball was her passion and she moved on to play travel softball with the Westerville Warcats. After a year with the Warcats, she moved to the Central Ohio Ice Organization, where she played for more than seven years, specializing as second baseman. Simultaneously, Georges began playing for the Westerville North High School Warriors, again as a second baseman. In her sophomore year, Georges made All OCC Honorable Mention, and then in her junior year she made Second Team All OCC. Senior year accolades have yet to be determined. Georges is currently part of the Buckeye Heat travel softball organization for the 2017-2018 season.
