On October 4, Westerville North High School held its 11th annual Warrior Way Leadership Summit.  Its purpose is to recognize students who are leaders and/or those who wish to learn skills to enhance their ability to be leaders in the school and community.  The Summit centers on the ideals of the Warrior Way, which was founded by former Principal Jim McCann.

Throughout the day, pupils completed team and individual challenges, listened to community and school leaders speak, and completed a project to demonstrate the values of the group, which will be displayed in the school.  Participants will continue to develop this skill set at Leadership Academy meetings held every other week throughout the year.  At the follow up meetings, they will identify and practice leadership skills throughout the building and in the community.
