On April 26, teammates, friends, family and coaches gathered at Westerville North High School to celebrate Tommy Bichsel as he signed his Letter of Intent to continue his education and play lacrosse at the collegiate level.  Bichsel will be attending Lake Erie College, where he will major in Environmental Science.

He began playing lacrosse when he was eight years old and has become a four-year letterman and two-time captain for the Warriors.  He was honored last year as the MVP Offensive Player and received Honorable Mention OC and 2nd Team All Region recognitions.  Bichsel is a scholar athlete and was recently recognized in the Columbus Dispatch as Athlete of the Week.  In his four years at North, he has scored more than 170 goals and currently holds the record for the most goals scored in a game (nine) and most goals in a season (58).  Bichsel also enjoyed the experiences gained playing on his travel team Momentum Lacrosse, and he was selected for the Great Lakes Invitational All-Star team.  He is currently coached by Nate Nelson and is looking forward to joining the LakeErie Storm in the fall, coached by Steve Gartelman.
