Friends, family members, coaches, staff and teammates gathered in the Gallery at Westerville North High School on Thursday afternoon, March 23, to watch and celebrate as senior Brandon Mitchell signed a Letter of Intent to play football at Tiffin University.
Mitchell has played football since he was in third grade. He was a scholar athlete, two time letterman, and team captain during his senior year. He has played various football positions growing up, but focused in high school on being a running back and linebacker. Those plans changed when he played varsity during his junior year and he switched to slot receiver and corner. Mitchell chose Tiffin because he loves the campus, likes the small class sizes and the diversity of students who go there. He plans to study Exercise Science and one day become a physical therapist.
