Friends, family, teammates, coaches and staff gathered in the Gallery at Westerville North High School on March 22 to watch and celebrate as senior Josh Grant signed a Letter of Intent to play soccer at Ohio Northern University in Ada.

Grant has been a scholar athlete at North for four years in wrestling and soccer.  In both sports, he was a four-time letterman, and team captain during his junior and senior years.  He earned multiple First and Second Team honors.  In wrestling, Grant was an individual state and team state qualifier.  He helped Westerville North’s soccer team achieve District and Runner-Up titles.  Grant is a member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee and involved in the Warrior Leadership Team.  He has played club soccer from U9 to U19, currently succeeding with Blast F.C. at the regional level.  His family says he has been nurtured by a “multitude of caring and challenging coaches and supportive staff.”  Grant gives back through church and by being a volunteer coach for Westerville United Youth Wrestling.
