Friends, family, coaches, teammates and educators gathered in the Westerville North High School Atrium on Friday afternoon, February 24, to watch and celebrate as Megan Crager signed a Letter of Intent to play softball at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. She was coached by her father, at a very young age, to play baseball in every position. She switched to softball before attending middle school, and was put on a select travel team. In high school, Crager earned a spot on the varsity team as a freshman. As she heads into her fourth year as a varsity player, she hopes to receive her four-year varsity letter. Crager made Special Mention All OCC as a junior. Her parents, Colleen and Alex, said, “The coaches she has had this entire journey have helped to mold her into the player she is today.” Academically, Crager has been on the Honor and Merit rolls during her entire high school career. In addition to playing softball at Wilmington, Crager plans to major in Early Childhood Education.
