This year marks the five year anniversary of an amazing event at Westerville North High School.  Spread the Word to End the Word is a nationwide campaign to bring acceptance to all people and end the use of the derogatory R-word (retarded).  Pupils in classrooms of Sara Call and Amy Brill worked countless hours educating and preparing the school for this phenomenal cause, which culminated on March 2.   More than 230 shirts were sold and a luncheon was held for students and staff in the building titled, “Celebrating Our Differences.”  Food was generously donated by a number of local vendors.
