The Westerville North High School 40th Anniversary Event Team has announced plans to hold a celebration for charity in honor of the school’s 40th anniversary.  The event, which will take place on Friday, April 22 from 6:30 – 10:00 p.m., will include dinner, a silent auction and speakers from different eras of North’s history.

Tickets cost $20 and are all-inclusive.  Dinner will be provided by various restaurants in the Westerville community, including Giammarco’s and Schneider’s Bakery, with dessert provided by Bugaboo Bakery, run by North junior Abigail Prohl.

The silent auction will be organized by an adult Leadership Westerville Team.  All proceeds will be divided evenly and donated to three organizations: Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS), Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) and American Legion Young-Budd Post 171.

“We created this event in order to give back to the community for everything they’ve done for Westerville North,” event planner Leah Gaus said.  “There are so many wonderful things about this school that came from the Warrior Way, such as an overall sense of leadership and unity that still exist because of the community’s support.”

Due to limited capacity, tickets are available at www.wnhs40th.ticketleap.com through April 1. Table sponsorships for organizations looking to advertise are also available for $100 and come with two complimentary tickets.  For further information, please visit www.wnhs40th.weebly.com.
