Westerville Kiwanis honors top scholars with 58th Annual Academic Varsity Awards

The Westerville Kiwanis Club recently recognized and extended its congratulations to the top 10 graduates from each Westerville City School District (WCSD) high school as part of its 58th annual Academic Varsity Awards.

Honorees and their families traditionally attend a spring awards banquet and ceremony sponsored by the Kiwanis. However, this year’s banquet was cancelled due to state restrictions in place because of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite these unexpected circumstances, each student being recognized for their stellar academic achievements received a gift from the Board of Education, as well as a framed certificate, book, and personal letter from the Kiwanis Club.

Honorees and their families also were treated to a special commemorative video created by the WCSD Superintendent’s Office. This year’s Academic varsity Award honorees are:
