Friends, family members, coaches, teachers and administrators gathered at Westerville Central High School on Wednesday afternoon, December 19, to watch and celebrate as Dontay Hunter signed a Letter of Intent to continue his education and play football at Purdue University.
During his time at Central, Hunter earned a number of honors. He was 1st Team All Conference, 1st Team All District, 2nd Team All Ohio and was named to the This Week Sports Super 25 Team. His parents are April and Dontay Hunter.
Head football coach Brent Morrison said, “I am extremely proud of how Dontay has grown in his time at Central and I look forward to watching him as he moves to the next chapter of his life. His leadership and commitment to our program played a huge role in our success this season.”
