Westerville Central High School’s annual Scholarship Children’s Show this year is Greeks and Geeks, written and directed by students Ava Iannarino and Kaylee Showalter.  It will be performed at Central on February 23 at 7:00 p.m., and on February 24 at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets cost $5 at the door.

The show takes viewers to an elementary school to meet five children who need help on their final projects.  During a class trip to the museum, the Greek gods (of Mount Olympus fame) hear their cry for help and make it their duty to lead them to victory, not only on their projects but also with their self-image.  With all the drama that can come with being a kid such as facing bullies, gaining self-confidence, and completing schoolwork on time, the gods help these youngsters truly see their full potential.
