Westerville Central’s Noah Martin is Recognized for Second Place Poetry Out Loud Finish

Noah Martin, a sophomore at Westerville Central High School, was honored by the Board and Superintendent on April 25 for having placed second in the State of Ohio Poetry Out Loud contest, which was held on Saturday, March 19 at COSI.  He won a cash prize as well as money for the purchase of poetry books at the Westerville Central library.  Martin recited a poem for the crowd, and received a Resolution of Commendation for having represented Central and the Westerville School District with “honor and distinction.”  Also recognized were Martin’s advisors – Amy Farris, Scott Paynter, and Jim Grannis.
