Westerville Central High School is always a nice place to be, but especially this past week.  Students and staff were buying treats for each other and attaching uplifting messages of appreciation.  They also wore same colored clothing each day to commemorate positive thoughts.  Monday was pink for kindness; Tuesday red for love; Wednesday yellow for hope; Thursday green for friendship; and Friday blue for unity.  “Caught you being kind” notes were placed in a “Random Acts of Kindness” box and some were read during announcements.

Kindness Week was organized by junior Morgan Racik and the Be the Change Club.  Faculty advisor was Stephanie Martin.  The event was another example of supporting the Westerville City School District’s “PBIS” (positive behavior intervention support) initiative.
