MURAL

Hopefully, you saw Walnut's newest mural! Adam Hernandez installed a huge wolf on the athletic shed, August 2019. You might have seen his other work at Jimmy V's or Condado Tacos. GO WOLVES!

From Adams website:
Adam Hernandez was born and raised in the Bronx to a family of musicians and performers. As a kid, the graffiti covering every surface of his city spoke to him. Hernandez is self-taught. He has exhibited work and painted murals in cities across the US and also internationally in Cape Town, South Africa.

Hernandez has also been featured in multiple publications. He was recently named the Best Artist in Columbus by the Columbus Alive. His characters exist in the Land Of Thunderbirds, a mythical world he created to tell the stories of heroes and gods.

Many thanks to Adam for supporting our community!

A special thank you to Linda Cowgill for her dedication to this PTSA project.
