Welcome to my website!  I am proud to be a WSMS wolf and I hope you are, too!  Below you will find some general information about the services I can provide to my students.  My classrooms (on the left) include specific information for each grade level at Walnut as well as specific programs and activities. 

Walnut Springs Middle School guidance counselors loop with their students.  This means that I will be your student's guidance counselor until they leave middle school.  During the 2011-2012 school year, I will be the 6th grade counselor; during the 2012-2013 school year, I will be the 7th grade counselor; and during the 2013-2014 school year I will be the 8th grade counselor.  

Middle school is a time of transition for both students and parents.  It is still completely appropriate to work with your students' individual teachers, but I am an additional resource for you as well.  I work with my students on an indvidual basis as well as in small groups and classrooms.  I am able to help students with academic, career/college, and social/emotional concerns.
