Walnut Springs Middle School (WSMS) students Emery Sullivan, Arden Heckman, Alison Merrell, and Lily Sharp received Honorable Mention in this year’s Virtual Ohio History Day Statewide Competition for their group performance, “Victoria Woodhull.”

With guidance and instruction from Teacher Jeffrey Holmes, the WSMS students were one of the 17 different groups from Westerville City Schools that made it to the state level to participate in this virtual competition. This is a record number of participants for the district.

Nearly 700 students from over 100 schools around Ohio participated virtually this year at the Ohio History Day Statewide Competition. Well done Westerville!
