As part of an ongoing commitment to community partnerships, Walnut Springs pupils and the City of Westerville’s Construction Manager, Nathan Lang, PE, had a “working lunch” to discuss topics related to engineering. Students were curious about classes Lang took at all levels of his education to prepare for his career; out-of-the-ordinary projects; difficulties of being an engineer; types of engineers; current city projects, and much more. The group agreed to stay connected moving forward to continue to nurture future engineer and other STEM professionals.
