The Westerville South High School Theatre Department presents Catch Me If You Can from April 26-28.  Based on the true-life story and popular blockbuster movie about Frank William Abagnale Jr. (played by Oliver Runyon), Catch Me if you Can is the story of a 16 year old young man who runs away from home when his family (Josiah Holloway and Kandy Otchere-Boakye) divorces and he is asked to choose which parent to live with.  Armed with only his father’s lesson about slick talking, Frank Jr. takes to the streets and imitates a pilot, doctor and lawyer.  In his final act, he meets Brenda Strong (Emma Murphy) and falls in love.  At that time, FBI Agent Carl Hanratty (Caleb Jingo), who spends the musical chasing him, is able to catch up.  Fast-talking agents, charming con men and a 62-person cast brings this remarkable 1960s tale to life at Westerville South High School. With period costumes and a soundtrack that features the sounds of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, audiences will enjoy this father/son story with comedy and high energy dancing.  Matt Wolfe directs.

Tickets cost $10 for all ages and can be reserved at https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/5407.  Superintendent’s Gold Cards will accepted at door and best available seating will be given.  Show times are April 26 at 7:00 p.m., April 27 at 7:00 p.m., and April 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Westerville South Auditorium, located at 303 South Otterbein Avenue.
