Teachers Attend Ed Tech Camp to Learn about Integrating Technology into the Classroom

Educators gathered to train on technology integration topics ranging from novice level sessions to advanced practices. 

 

 

 

More than 140 Westerville City Schools teachers and substitute teachers participated in Ed Tech Camp, which took place in June at Blendon Middle School.  These professional learning sessions related to integrating technology effectively into the classroom.  Presenters consisted of Westerville teachers who are leaders in utilizing technology for student learning and engagement.  

Session titles included:  Using Social Media in Your Classroom, Ozobots in the Classroom, Using Schoology in the Classroom, WeVideo, Blended Classroom for English and Science, Organize Your Research With Noodletools, The Ohio Blended Collaborative: Social Studies 7, When Innovation Fails, Tools for Special Education Coordinators, Gamifying Learning in Your Classroom, Google & RTI, Google Sheets Round-table, LAMP App for iPad- Oral and Written Expression, 21st Century Research Projects, Blended Learning 101, Noodletools for Young Learners, Interactive Lesson Design with Google, Go Full Throttle with Active Learning, Empowering Students with Tech to Grow Coping and Resiliency Skills, Field Trips with Google Maps, Curating Videos with YouTube, Transforming Lesson Design and Creative Story Writing, Makerspace, Going Beyond Google, Pursuit of Deeper Learning Through Activators and Summarizers, Beginners Guide to Desmos, Open Collaboration Time, and an Unconference.
