Westerville Education Association Celebrates Teachers at Spring Reception

On Wednesday evening, May 6, the Westerville Education Association (WEA) hosted its Annual Reception at Villa Milano.  WEA President Rhonda Gilpin presided over the event, during which time a number of awards were presented. 

Superintendent John Kellogg addressed the packed house, as did Tracy Davidson, President of the Westerville City Schools Board of Education. 

Friends of Education awards were given to Linda Weiler, Linda George and Ann and Jeff Wakefield.

Retiring educators were also honored:  Tim Allen, Cindy Baker, Diane Brewer, Jim Gaul, Michele Lynn Gelzleichter, Elizabeth A. Glenn, Kathleen Gordon, Laura Hance, Denise Katz, Tracey Kearnes, Jane Milligan Leemhuis, Lori Malicoate, Todd M. McDavid, Duane E. McDonald, Jr., Esperanza R.
