For teacher Dwight Back, the new journey back into the world of technology is very exciting and welcomed. Mr. Back graduated from Morehead State University (Morehead, Kentucky) in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Industrial Education. He received his Master of Education degree from Ashland University (Ashland, Ohio) in 2001. Mr. Back later receieved licensure for Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialst, in 2006, from the Ohio Dominican University/Lesley University. 

Mr. Back has been teaching both high school and middle school age students for 26 years. He received the WEA "Educator of the Year" award in 2004, upon nomination from his colleagues at the Walnut Springs Middle School, in Westerville, Ohio. During his 26 years, Mr. Back has taught many courses in the field of Industrial Education, Industrial Technology, Special Education, and now PLTW's Gateway To Technology: Design & Modeling/Automation & Robotics for Westerville City Schools middle school students.
