Westerville City School District (WCSD) officials today announced the release of the district’s 2020-2021 local testing calendar for students, along with an acknowledgment that the testing schedule remains subject to change.

“We’ve continued to monitor all local health guidelines, legislation, and Ohio Department of Education requirements for this upcoming school year and have been working closely with our personnel to develop this comprehensive testing calendar,” said Dr. Scott Ebbrecht, WCSD’s director of assessment and alternative education. “Each year our goal is to create a calendar that meets the needs of all stakeholders, clearly articulates the assessments administered at each grade level, meets State requirements, and reflects staff and parental feedback obtained through formal, coordinated outreach efforts.”

Ebbrecht noted that the assessment calendar should be viewed as a working document that may change based on a variety of factors associated with the pandemic.
