Heritage Track Team Honored by Westerville City Schools Board of Education

Heritage coaches Patrick Acocks and Molly Miller are pictured with student athletes who exceled at the 7th and 8th grade OHSAA State Track and Field Championship. 

 

 

 

The Westerville City Schools Board of Education and Superintendent John Kellogg recognized, on June 11, students and coaches from Heritage Middle School for their stellar showing at the second annual 7th and 8th grade OHSAA State Track and Field Championship, held on Saturday, May 12, at Lancaster High School.  The school’s 4 x 200 meter relay team – James McCreery, Frederick Yeboah, Michael Donkor and Kaden Saunders – finished in second place.  Saunders also won the state championship in the boys’ 100-meter dash; and Brooke Holloway took first in state in the girls’ pole vault event.  Patrick Acocks and Molly Miller coached the team.
