Eighth grade Heritage Middle School student Matthew Sliwinski recently participated in the Ohio State Geography Bee competition sponsored by National Geographic. Having won his classroom, grade level, and school competitions, Sliwinski competed on Friday, April 6, at the Fawcett Center at The Ohio State University. He qualified for the finals, and finished in sixth place overall.
