Educator Day Training Helps Teachers and Staff Prepare for Influx of Students

Teachers could choose from a number of classes offered at Westerville Central High School.

 

 

When more than 15,000 students came rolling through the doors on Thursday, August 17, teachers and classified staff in the Westerville City School District were prepared, thanks, in part to training they received on Westerville Educator Day.  August 14 was set aside for professional development.  On that day, certificated and classified employees took advantage of dozens of classes held at Westerville South and Central high schools, all designed to help make the new school year start a little smoother.
