College Admission 101 and Case Studies Program is an annual event to provide Westerville City Schools’ families in grades 9-12 with an opportunity to learn and understand the college admission process by reviewing sample college applications.  This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, May 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Westerville South High School, which is located at 303 South Otterbein Avenue.

The event starts with a “College Admissions 101” presentation by Donnell Wiggins, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment at the University of Dayton.  Next, attendees will be broken up into three different rooms where admission officers will walk them through how they would make decisions about the four sample case studies.  Colleges in attendance include Denison University, Oberlin College, The Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, and University of South Carolina.

Families must register for this event by going to https://goo.gl/forms/J5bRaGJGxLttXubR2.

Please download and read sample applications prior to the event, so you can be ready to discuss the applications with the college admission representatives and decide who will receive an acceptance, wait list or denial letter from the fictitious college, Jefferson University.
