Middle School Parents Invited to College and Career Readiness Night on February 26

On Thursday, February 26, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., the Walnut Springs College and Career Readiness Committee is hosting a Parent Night for all middle school parents in the Westerville City School District.  Like last year’s event, there will be speakers on 10 different topics that will help prepare families for their student’s high school, college, and career lives.  Parents will be able to choose up to three sessions to attend.  This event will take place at Walnut Springs Middle School, which is located at 888 East Walnut St.

Sessions will include: Preparing for College Now, High School Graduation Requirements, International Baccalaureate Program, Career Center Options, 21st Century Skills for High School and Beyond, AP in High School, ACT/SAT, College Credit Plus, Project Lead the Way and Advocating for Your Student with IEP or 504 through High School and Beyond.  Parents only, please.  For more information, please visit www.walnutspringsccr.weebly.com/.
