On Friday, January 23, Westerville North High School hosted 400 students from Heritage Middle School for the movie showing of Maleficent.  Heritage then treated the pupils to a pizza and pop party to celebrate 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Renaissance qualifiers from the second quarter of this school year.  A prize drawing took place following the movie and pizza, which included a Chromebook, Ohio State themed bags, a sports-themed basket, a girls-themed basket, neon school supply baskets, gift cards to Starbucks, AMC, iTunes, Gamestop and more.  Teachers and students expressed their appreciation to the Heritage PTSA for the donated prizes and for volunteering their time to help out with this event, along with Westerville North for allowing them to use their facilities.

Heritage’s Renaissance program recognizes students who have displayed excellence in the fields of academics, attendance, behavior, school involvement, and school and/or community service. Students must meet requirements and apply each quarter to be a part of the program.
