It’s time to make plans to participate in the 15th annual Westerville Community Bowl-a-Thon! The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace, 5705 Forest Hills Blvd.  Funds raised from this event benefit the Westerville Chamber Foundation, the Westerville Education Foundation, and the Westerville Symphony at Otterbein.

The Westerville Chamber Foundation provides traditional and non-traditional college and high school scholarships to local area students.  The Westerville Education Foundation awards grants to teachers and other staff within the Westerville City School district for special projects that educate and benefit the children of our community.  The Westerville Symphony at Otterbein is a non-profit organization that provides an artistic outlet for local musicians while functioning as an educational, cultural, and entertainment resource for our community.

Bowl-a-Thon organizers have created several different ways for businesses and the community to become involved and/or sponsor the event including:

  • Executive Challenge Bowler where community and business leaders are recognized at the Executive Luncheon and have a bowling competition for the Golden Pin Trophy.
  • Corporate Lane Sponsors where companies bring a team of five bowlers and receive sponsor promotional benefits.
  • School Challenge Sponsor where you can show your support for the bowling competition between Westerville South, North and Central and their principals.

The event will feature a DJ, food, high school bands and choirs, a quartet from the symphony, and other entertainment.  Mark your calendar now for this great opportunity to help education, the arts, and provide scholarships to youth in our community.  Interested persons can visit
