I began teaching again at Genoa in the 2017-18 school year and am so happy to be back!
I was a Genoa charter staff member and helped to open the building in 1998-99. Before that I taught at Walnut Springs for 10 years! So, where was I in the meantime? I stayed home to raise our 3 kids, but I remained involved in education. I worked for Otterbein University as a Student Teacher Supervisor and as an Adjunct Professor - where I taught college students how to teach social studies to middle schoolers! I also volunteered to help the Westerville Education Foundation raise money to fund some cool projects for teachers in Westerville.
