Westerville Central’s Reace Gonzalez earns bowling accolades

The Ohio High School Bowling Coaches Association (OHSBCA) recently announced that Westerville Central High School Senior Reace Gonzalez has been named a 2019-2020 Senior Bowler of the Year for its Central/ East/Southeast District. Nominees were submitted by 2019-2020 active members of the Coaches Association and the winners were selected by the OHSBCA Board of Directors. Honorees each receive a SMART college scholarship and an engraved plaque commemorating their accomplishment.

Buckeye Blood Drive at Old Bag of Nails Westerville

The need for blood during the COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t end. Versiti Blood Center of Ohio and the Old Bag of Nails (OBON) Westerville will serve as the site of a blood drive scheduled from 1 p.m. to    7 p.m. on May 5, 2020, benefitting OSU Wexner Medical Center patients. At that time, a bus will be located in the OBON lot north of Main Street. Appointments are strongly encouraged to allow for social distancing, although walk-ins will be welcomed.
