The spring session of The Westerville Drum Club will begin on April 4, consisting of a five-week training program that will give your child the extra practice he/she needs with professional educators. By learning in a group, many students feel less intimidated than with one-on-one instruction. They also enjoy growing and learning to play together. Drum Club is open to students in the Westerville City School District.
Drum Club dates are April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2. Group 1 will focus on an Introduction to Rudimental Drumming for students in grades 6 - 8. It will be held from 7:00 – 7:50 p.m. Group 2, called Maximizing Your Skills, is for pupils in grades 8-12. It will take place from 8:00 – 8:50 p.m.
Drum Club is held in the Westerville South Band Room, located at 303 South Otterbein Avenue. Limited first come, first served spots are available in each group for this session.
