The first day of classes for all middle school students is Thursday, August 17.
The Westerville City School District is collecting Emergency Medical and Parent Permission information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. All forms should be completed online, including the Emergency Medical Form, the Student Code of Conduct, the Publicity Consent Form, and the Walking Field Trip form. Parents and guardians of returning students should have already created a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access student information. Please contact your school office if you have forgotten your login information or if you have a student new to the district and have not yet created your account.
Fees must be paid prior to or during schedule pick-up. Payment can be made through EZPay, check, cash, or money order.
- Blendon’s schedule pick-up will be held on Wednesday, August 9 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Then again on Thursday, August 10 from 10:00 a.m. - noon. There will be a 6th grade and new student orientation August 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium. Yearbook and photo I.D. pictures will be taken during all schedule pick-up sessions with a make-up day during school on August 24. Please look for your picture package order form in the mail from HR imaging. Curriculum night will take place on Thursday, August 24 at 6:00 p.m.
- Genoa students may pick up their schedules on August 9 from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. for grade 6 only. School and I.D. pictures for 6th graders will be taken during schedule pick-up. Please check the mail for picture packages from HRImaging. Students new to Westerville and 6th graders who did not attend Moving Up Night in the spring will have an opportunity to meet the administration of Genoa at a brief informational gathering in the gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. on August 9. Schedule pick-up sessions for 7th and 8th grade students will be August 10 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. School and I.D. pictures for 7th and 8th graders will be taken during schedule pick-up. Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
- Heritage Middle School’s Back-to-School days will be August 9 and 10. On August 9, sixth graders will pick up their schedules, as well as have their school/I.D. pictures taken from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Orientation for 6th graders will be at 6:30 p.m. On August 10, seventh and eighth graders will pick up their schedules and have their school/I.D. pictures taken from 2:00 to 6:30 p.m. Picture order forms have been mailed home, and extra forms will be available during Back-to-School days. Curriculum Night will take place on August 31 at 6:30 p.m.
- Walnut Springs schedule pick-up will take place on August 9 from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. for grade six only. An orientation program will be held that evening at 6:30 p.m. for new students and sixth graders. The annual hot dog party for new students will also be held on August 9 immediately following the orientation program on the football field. Schedule pick-up for seventh and eighth grade students will be August 10 from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Pictures will be taken during schedule pick-up. Curriculum Night will be held August 24 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
