Travel with Blendon Middle School’s Drama Club to the “Jungle of Nool” as JoJo and the Cat use their imaginations to transport everyone into the adventure that is Seussical Jr, the Musical!  “Oh, the thinks you can think” when you follow Horton the Elephant on his quest to save the Who’s of Whoville in spite of interference from the Wickersham Brothers, distractions by Mayzie La Bird, and then being captured and auctioned off to the circus.  Perhaps Gertrude is the real heroine, and Horton’s “one true friend in the universe,” as she travels far and wide to find and rescue Horton and lead him back to the clover leaf where he had safely placed the tiny speck of dust that is Whoville.  All of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters come together in the end, proving anything is possible when you open your mind and use your imagination.

Come watch more than 85 cast and crew members use their imaginations to bring you this production of Seussical Jr, the Musical, presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

The show will be performed in the Westerville South High School auditorium (303 South Otterbein Avenue) at 7:00 pm on Friday, March 1; Saturday, March 2; and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.  Ticket cost is $8 for adults and $5 for students.  All tickets are for general seating and can be purchased at the door.  Want to avoid the crowds?  Contact Kathy Hayman at haymank@westerville.k12.oh.us to find out how to pre-order your tickets.
