Westerville Middle School Students Accepted into OWjL Camp

The 37th Ohio Wesleyan University and Junior League of Columbus OWjL Camp has announced this year’s candidates accepted to participate this year.  OWjL Camp is a weeklong residential camp for gifted students currently in grades 6, 7, and 8.  With more than 80 classes to choose from, campers are immersed in an academic program that includes mathematics, logic, computing, science, and the humanities.  A large emphasis is also placed on diversity, global perspectives and artistic expression as well as traditional camp experiences.  Approximately 540 campers are selected to attend the program.  Westerville City Schools participants are:

  • Ajay Kumar, Blendon Middle School;
  • Colin Bang, Cora Bang, Michael-Steven Frazier, Joshua Perrini, and Liliana Winkler, Genoa;
  • Jonathan Stowers and James Weaver, Heritage; and
  • Colleen Lynch and Zoe McCallum, Walnut Springs.
