The Westerville Education Foundation (WEF) is holding its second annual An Artful Affair fundraiser on May 5. Billed as “Westerville’s Largest Art Auction,” this social event features a silent and live auction of high-quality art in all media from professional and practicing artists alike.
Event proceeds support the Westerville Education Foundation’s educator grants program and other initiatives that foster innovative educational practices in Westerville City School District classrooms. For anyone seeking an enjoyable night out that also supports a great cause, An Artful Affair features live music, strolling appetizers and an assortment of beverages for all tastes. During the evening, WEF will honor Westerville City School District educators who have utilized Foundation resources or been recognized through various WEF initiatives during the year. All attendees will have an opportunity to bid on and take home several pieces of high-quality art created and donated by local professional and practicing artists, including items from student artists.
The deadline to donate original art is April 16. An Artful Affair will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 5 at The Lakes Golf & Country Club, 6740 Worthington Rd, Westerville, OH 43082.
