Blendon Middle School’s choir earned first place in the Kings Island “Music in the Parks” competition.
On Saturday, April 29, the Blendon choir competed in the Kings Island Music in the Parks competition. Not only did they earn first place in the middle school choir division, but they also had the highest overall score of all participants who competed on that day. After the contest, choir members, teachers and chaperones relaxed at the park where choir director Joshua Ice rode his first roller coaster since 2007. “The Blendon choir members have made huge progress this year and they should be very proud of this accomplishment,” he said.
