The deadline for GEM nominations is Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Sponsored by Roush Honda and Westerville Parent Council, the annual GEM Awards, which stands for “Great Educator Mentors,” honors community members, volunteers, teachers and staff who consistently go above and beyond for students in Westerville schools.
Award winners are selected for each school in the district by building committee. Additionally, awards are given for those who serve in an extraordinary way for pupils in more than one building or across the entire district.
