Supported by the Westerville City Schools Gifted Education and Social Studies departments, 36 students from all three grade levels at Blendon Middle School participated in a Geography Bee recently, after passing a qualifying test. Eighth grade student Anthony Vilardo took first place and was the overall 8th grade winner. Taking second place was 8th grader Samuel Woldesmait. Third place and overall 6th grade winner was Ben Moseley, with 6th grade pupil Miriam Abdulkadir coming in fourth. The building’s top 7th grader was Britton Berk.
